"Construct"[1] is a map referenced in the Halo 3 Beta code. It was then confirmed in a leaked photo, and then explored in two videos. It is a forerunner complex, with an entire open side, showing many extrusions, which is similar to the cartographer building on The Ark (Level) Below is a large ocean. Sentinels and Constructors float out far from the level, but can be destroyed with long range weapons.
The level is completely symmetrical, which is multi-leveled. The center is mostly open, while the sides have many floors which are connected by ramps, and 3 gravity lifts which can be entered from at many levels.
A popular strategy on this map is to camp at the top of the level (the area with the Energy Sword) where the purple gravity lifts take you, or throw grenades or equipment up it as well.
Trivia
- At the edge of the level, you can see Forerunner Sentinels hover past the level's area. It is possible to destroy these using a long range weapon, such as a Sniper Rifle or a Spartan Laser. Forerunner Constructors can also be seen hovering past the level, and can also be destroyed.
