Breakout Arena is a Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer map intended for use as a Forge canvas.[2] The map was released as part of the Cartographer's Gift update on December 16, 2015.[3]
Universe and lore[edit]
Breakout Arena is set on Munera Platform A7, a training arena with a holographic floor in orbit above Earth.[1]

Production notes[edit]
The earliest version of Breakout Arena was developed in 2013 and was acting as the base for the variant of the map Crossfire. At that time, much of the lighting and coloration in the map was different.[4]
