HELLJUMPER-class Mjolnir is a variant of the MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor derived from ODST armor. It is manufactured by Cascade Stronghold Technologies.[1][2]

Overview[edit]

Development history[edit]

The armor is considered to be the pet project of Cascade Stronghold Technologies' current chief executive officer, a former Orbital Drop Shock Trooper.[1]

The armor's helmet was initially created for service in the UNSC Marine Corps, though development delays kept it from consideration by the branch. However, only minor modifications were required to make the HELLJUMPER-class armor's helmet fully compatible with GEN2 Mjolnir armor.[1]

Usage[edit]

A small number of HELLJUMPER-class prototypes have been commissioned and entered service into the Spartan branch under a research partnership between the United Nations Space Command and Cascade Stronghold Technologies. Spartans Edward Buck, Kojo Agu, and Michael Crespo used this armor during Operation: COALPEPPER in August 2555.[3] Edward Buck would continue using the armor up to the Battle of Genesis in October 2558.[1][4]

In-game information[edit]

Halo 5: Guardians[edit]

Helljumper was introduced in Halo 5: Guardians as an armor permutation unlockable via the Requisition system. Like Copperhead, Hunter, and Technician, the armor acts as a pseudo-recreation of Edward Buck's armor within Halo 5's campaign; only lacking the uniquely designed techsuit Buck's variant possesses. It features one solitary skin: Feet First.

Halo Infinite[edit]

Helljumper would later make a return in an updated form in Halo Infinite, added during the Fall Update's Haloween II Operation on October 28, 2025 in celebration of Halo 5: Guardians' 10th anniversary. It is available both through the Shop and The Exchange. The Helljumper helmet and its associated armor parts are primarily available for the Mark VII armor core.[5]

Visually, the Helljumper helmet is largely identical to its GEN2 iteration in Halo 5: Guardians, with the only difference being that the AI data crystal chip port at the back no longer appears as a bulge.
