The Freebooter armour was created by the Berlin-based outsource studio Airborn Studios.[2] Internally, the armour was known by the codename A080 during development.[3]

Trivia[edit]

  • Freebooter is another name for a pirate. Likewise, a privateer is essentially a government sanctioned pirate.
