COPPERHEAD-class Mjolnir is a MJOLNIR armor variant designed by the Watershed Division.[1]

Overview[edit]

Design details[edit]

The suit is equipped with interior systems to exploit the complex "terrain" of human and alien societies.[1] Olympia Vale's Copperhead armor weighed approximately 400 kilograms.[2]

Development history[edit]

Designed by the Office of Naval Intelligence's Watershed Division. Copperhead armor was built and designed from the very beginning to be used in covert operations and other "special activities".[1]

Equipped with interior systems to exploit the complex "terrain" of human and alien society, the origin of the Copperhead armor's "militarized anthropology" decision support system originates from innovative tools created by Colonial Administration Authority field teams that operated in the Insurrection.[1]

Usage[edit]

The armor variant is rarely seen as it is closely guarded by ONI's direct action teams and personnel require high levels of clearance to even review maintenance logs.[1]

Spartan Olympia Vale used this armor in 2558.[1]

In-game information[edit]

Halo 5: Guardians[edit]

Copperhead was introduced in Halo 5: Guardians as an armor permutation unlockable via the Requisition system. Like Helljumper, Hunter, and Technician, the armor acts as a pseudo-recreation of Olympia Vale's armor within Halo 5's campaign; only lacking the uniquely designed techsuit Vale's variant possesses. It features one solitary skin: Fangs.

Halo Infinite[edit]

Copperhead would later make a return in an updated form in Halo Infinite, added during the Fall Update's Haloween II Operation on October 28, 2025 in celebration of Halo 5: Guardians' 10th anniversary. It is available both through the Shop and The Exchange. The Copperhead helmet and its associated armor parts are primarily available for the Mark VII armor core.[3]

References[edit]

The armor's name references the copperhead, a species of viper, closely related to rattlesnakes. The sole armor skin in Halo 5: Guardians references the animal's large fangs.
