The Whisper helmet is an armor suite developed by the Watershed Division and used by stealth ship pilots of the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI).[2][3]

Design details[edit]

Whisper helmets feature a United Nations Space Command machine interlink and encrypted interface to allow the helmet to interface with other prototype equipment produced by Watershed Division.[1] An optional add-on, the TACAIR XMU, can be fitted on the helmet's mouthpiece, acting as a rebreather that allows the helmet to be used in exo-atmospheric environments.[4]

Usage[edit]

The Whisper helmet is the regulation flight gear of ONI's stealth-ship pilots,[3] presumably including craft such as the ONI Wasp, Shearwater, subprowlers, U81 Condor, and Turaco. The armor is rarely seen outside of ONI matters. By 2560, the Whisper armor was made compatible with the Mirage IIC platform.[2]

Whisper made its debut in Halo Infinite during 2025's Fall Update, releasing with the Shadows Operation. Being free rewards for the Operation Pass, the Whisper helmet and its associated components are primarily available on the Mirage IIC armor core.[2][3]
