Development history

The greaves for Outer-plated were manufactured by Lethbridge Industrial, while the legs were manufactured by the Materials Group.

Usage

The forearms were originally conceived for engagement operators on Cascade, however, the whole system saw little activity until the Concord incident in 2554.

Halo 4

The Outer-plated forearms and legs are present in Halo 4 as armor customization options. The base wrist and leg armor is available through the game's progression system, while multiple skins exist as alternatives and are available through other means. These skins are dubbed "Bayonet", "Circuit", "Refractive", "Raptor", and "Toxic".
