The Exchange in Halo Infinite is a rotating storefront where players use Spartan Points earned in-game to purchase items.

Overview[edit]

The Exchange was made available in Halo Infinite with the release of Content Update 32.^[1]^[2] Like Halo: The Master Chief Collection, the Exchange is a rotating storefront operating on freely earned currency, which allows players to earn old and new cosmetic items. The contents of the Exchange are added onto every month, tying into new Operations and their themes.

Unlike The Master Chief Collection, the items within the Exchange are never made unavailable to the player, and remain within the rotation as new content is added. The only exceptions to this are the Hayabusa Zokuhen bundle and the Black Falcon armor coating, which were only made available during the Legacy and Warpath Operations. Content that was featured in the Exchange and then pulled out can be bought via the Armor Hall. During Last Stand, an update was pushed that organized previous content available within the Exchange into proper categories without having to go into the Armor Hall, allowing users to find previously available content much easier.

Also, beginning with the release of Last Stand, free items within Operation Passes began to rotate into the Exchange following updates to the Operation system. Premium items would be turned into shop bundles. Furthermore, with the release of Warpath, certain bundles would be made available through the Exchange alongside the Shop, beginning with SCANNER and ending with COPPERHEAD, HELLJUMPER, HUNTER, and SHINOBI. With the release of the Infinite Operation, the Exchange would be stocked one last time with an enormous amount of originally vaulted content, including armor, attachments, coatings, and visors, among other items. Additionally, Spartan Point payout would be increased to allow players to unlock content in an easier fashion.
