Last Stand was an Operation in Halo Infinite, beginning on May 6, 2025 and ending on June 10, 2025. The operation was themed around a Banished attack on the Avery J. Johnson Academy of Military Science, as depicted in the update's Firefight: Battle of the Academy playlist and the tie-in Halo: Battle for the Academy - Part 1 short story.[1]
The update notably included the Mutilator shotgun and several classic-inspired armor sets: a Halo 3-inspired rendition of EVA, Halo 4's Raider and ONI Security SECOPS armor, and a pre-Xbox Halo-inspired ORION IIC. Two suits inspired by the Headhunters animated short, Scarred Comet and Liberator, also made an appearance.[1]
