The M77 armor, also known as Trooper, is an armor system used by UNSC troops.

Overview

Design details

The Trooper helmet is compatible with the IVS-M10 attachment, a head-up display with smartlink functionality.[1]

Development history

Originally designed as XM77, the Trooper armor was developed as a testbed for the UNSC Army's Tactical Resilience Program, ultimately reflecting Misriah Armory's preference for evolution with purpose rather a radical innovation on their products.[2]

Halo Infinite

The M77 armor made its debut in Halo Infinite during 2025's Spring Update, released with the Frontlines Operation.
