Template:Armor Infobox Template:Article Quote INFILTRATOR-class Mjolnir is a variant of the MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor (GEN2).[1]

Development history

INFILTRATOR-class Mjolnir, was manufactured by Hannibal Weapon Systems and was tested on the orbital battleclusters above New Carthage.[1]

Infiltrator was designed to subvert and penetrate security systems at heavily fortified sites which require on-site taps. To facilitate this, the suit has a faster recovery period after evading enemy patrols and sensors with sprint. The tactical abilities of the Infiltrator was tested at Anvil Station, and the cyberintrusion protocols were undergoing review on New Carthage.[2]

Infiltrator-class armor was also designed to assist Spartan operatives in gaining undetected entry into heavily fortified enemy sites.[1] During testing Spartans were jettisoned from high above New Carthage, they were forced to use re-entry packs to reach heavily protected weapon platforms, infiltrating them to accomplish specific objectives and escape without being hindered by passive inhibitors or guards.[3]
