Initially designed as an alternative to the SPI armor used by Spartan-III operatives, the Watershed Division unexpectedly revealed Hoplite as a low-cost MJOLNIR variant optimized for pairing with UNSC pistols. Hoplite armor lacks the sophistication of other models but is easy to build and repair.[3]
