Weapon skins (Halo Infinite)

From Halopedia, the Halo wiki

For other uses, see Weapon skins.

Weapon coatings in Halo Infinite will allow player to customize the appearance of their weapons.

Overview[edit]

Weapon skins in Halo Infinite function much like Halo 4's and Halo 5: Guardians' weapon skins, letting the player apply a pattern and set of colors to their weapon. When spawning with that weapon, or having picked it up first, their chosen skin will be permanently applied to that weapon; even if dropped or picked up by another player.

Unlock requirements[edit]

Storefront[edit]

Within the Halo Infinite Multiplayer Tech Preview, two skins sets were available for purchase through the game's storefront, those being the Glass Hound, and Maltese Mayhem skin sets. These were purchasable through the test's credit system.

Monster Energy promotion[edit]

In the fall of 2020, a promotional collaborative campaign for Halo Infinite with Monster Energy was launched. Buying specially marked cans and redeeming receipt codes on a tie-in website enabled users to unlock skins for when the game releases.
