Spirit of Fire is an operation in Halo Infinite. Spirit of Fire ran from January 30, 2024 to March 5, 2024, and focused on MJOLNIR Mark IV and Halo Wars-themed cosmetics.[1][2] Spirit of Fire would be followed by Cyber Showdown III.
Two short stories, Halo: Hippocratica and Halo: Fireside, were written and released during the Spirit of Fire operation to coincide with both it and the release anniversaries of Halo Wars and Halo Wars 2.
Spirit of Fire content[edit]
Content for Spirit of Fire is available through a 20 tier operation pass, which is perpetually available through Halo Infinite's switcher. Spirit of Fire was initially free on launch, allowing players to progress through the operation pass over the course of its month-long tenure, with challenges and general XP contributing to the pass' levels. While free, players could purchase the premium pass for 500 cR, providing a non-expiring operation pass which could be progressed at any time, along with the MA5 Evolved weapon model and Old Faithful weapon coating as bonus items. Upon Spirit of Fire's end, its operation pass was replaced by Cyber Showdown III's pass, and locked to those who did not purchase it; as per before, it remains indefinitely accessible through Infinite's switcher.

Five weekly challenges with exclusive rewards were available during Spirit of Fire. None of these items would be moved to the Exchange upon its launch with Banished Honor.

Miscellaneous rewards[edit]
Fitting the Silver Team-themed helmets that could be earned through weekly challenges that ran during Spirit of Fire, matching visors would be released as free login bonuses during the weeks of the operation where they were available. Like the helmets, these visors would not be made available through the Exchange. Additionally, certain items were given away through the Shop for free to celebrate the Lunisolar New Year and Halo: Epitaph's release.
Shop bundles[edit]
Spirit of Fire saw the addition of an array of unique new store offers themed around Mark IV and characters who donned the armor, including Team Omega. One unique bundle celebrated the Lunisolar New Year. Unlike Heroes of Reach through to Reckoning, all available store offers were pushed into the storefront upon Spirit of Fire's launch, setting a trend for most operations up until Infinite. All content within these offers can be found here.
