- "You've seen how their story ended with the fall of Reach... The Noble Intention Event is taking us back to a very different time, when Noble Four was Rosenda-A344 and Noble Six was Thom-A293. Play Noble Intention from February 7-21 and unlock new items for your Mark V [B] in the free 10 tier Event Pass. Remember Reach one last time as you pay homage to the forgotten members of Noble Team!"
- — Event description[2]
Noble Intention was a multiplayer event held for Halo Infinite. The third and final event of the Winter Update, Noble Intention was held between February 7 and 21, 2023. This event and its unlocks focused on NOBLE Team, specifically, two prior members: Rosenda-A344, and Thom-A293.[2] Noble Intention would be followed by Mindfall with the launch of Season 03: Echoes Within.
Noble Intention was first alluded to in the Holiday Community Livestream 343 Industries held on December 14, 2022.[3] Sean Baron stated that the then-unnamed event was intended to be a way to get the remaining content for the Mark V [B] armor core that wasn't available through the Winter Update's default battle pass. The event would be formally unveiled shortly before its launch.
A tie-in short story, Halo: Winter Contention, was released alongside the event on February 8th, 2023.[1]
Noble Intention content[edit]
Noble Intention's content could originally be earned through a 10 tier event pass over the course of its two week tenure. Like with Winter Contingency II or Joint Fire, progress could be furthered through the completion of one of ten weekly challenges available to the player, or through XP earned by playing the game with the newly implemented "Match XP beta".
Shoulder pad options earned through Noble Intention would be made available on all armor cores during Spirit of Fire in January of 2024. Armor coatings earned would be made available on all armor cores with the release of Fleetcom in July of the same year. With the exception of the event's exclusive armor kits, rewards earned through Noble Intention's event pass would be added to the Exchange during Fleetcom, Champions, and Last Stand.

Weekly rewards[edit]
One unique weekly challenge with an exclusive reward was available during Noble Intention. Like the challenges used to earn levels in the event pass, this weekly challenge was not tied to any playlist, and unlocked a new Mark V (B)-themed cosmetic option. Like the event pass' content, this reward would be added to the Exchange with the launch of Fleetcom.
