Serving under the Brute Chieftain known as Thrallslayer, Ik'novus soon became renown [sic] for his violent and bloodthirsty nature, including a particular penchant for eating the severed limbs of his opponents while they watched on in agony. Acquiring the title "Ik'novus the Devourer" throughout his own meteoric rise to Chieftain, the Jiralhanae warrior continued to lay waste to human settlements, even after breaking away from the Covenant.
