The Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary terminals teaser is a trailer for Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary. It was first shown at the Halo Universe panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2011. It shows the style and story featured in the game's terminals.[1]
Transcript[edit]
The Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary logo is presented. Suddenly, a Forerunner terminal appears; the geometric patterns on its glass surface gradually clearing and begins to show the following text:

A large haze of purple energy expands, and a Halo installation becomes visible in its midst.
- 343 Guilty Spark: "My makers' most horrific and devastating weapon."
A lush jungle with Forerunner structures and a Flood-infested Forerunner city are blown away by the impact of the Halo's activation. The camera then zooms out as Installation 04's energy pulse expands rapidly.
- 343 Guilty Spark: "But this ring is not just a weapon..."
Holographic representations of five Halo installations become visible. An expansive view of a jungle on Installation 04 is then shown.
- 343 Guilty Spark: "It is my home."
343 Guilty Spark is then shown to be examining Forerunner machinery. After that, both installation 04 and Threshold are shortly visible from space.
- 343 Guilty Spark: "And your presence is not a coincidence."
343 Guilty Spark is shown to be hovering before a platform, showing six holographic representations of Halo installations.
- 343 Guilty Spark: "You were brought here to serve a purpose."
343 Guilty Spark then gathers in unison with five other Monitors in a circular fashion, around Forerunner glyphs.
- 343 Guilty Spark: "But first, you must see the truth. Learn all that took place in my maker's absence."
An infected Marine is shown firing an MA5 assault rifle. The screen soon pans towards a large Human-Covenant battle around Forerunner structures. A Marine is then briefly shown running from a horde of Flood, as another Marine is overwhelmed behind him. Afterwards, a Spartan fires a rocket at one of the combat forms. John-117 can then be seen through the flame jet left by the rocket. 343 Guilty Spark faces the viewer's screen.
