The Halo 2 theatrical trailer screened in movie theaters across the United States in October 2004. The trailer consisted mostly of shots from the E3 2003 demo and the E3 2004 Multiplayer Demo.[1]

Two Sangheili Special Operations Officers turn around.
HAS DESTROYED EVERYTHING IN ITS PATH
A D77 Pelican flies over a war-torn New Mombasa. The Master Chief is driving a Ghost while taking fire from a Phantom.
ON NOVEMBER 9TH
A Phantom pursues the Master Chief's Ghost; its turret fires down at the Ghost. The Ghost narrowly escapes an explosion behind it.
WHAT'S IN ITS PATH...
First-person view of a battle in multiplayer on Zanzibar; the Spartan is firing an M7 SMG at an Elite, and then melees.

Fades to a shot of Earth.
A D77 Pelican flies towards New Mombasa. The Master Chief's Ghost pursued by a Phantom and Ghosts.
The Master Chief is standing on a highway, watching drop pods descending on the city. Several land around him. A Sangheili emerges from one of the pods; he activates his energy sword.
WE'RE NOT READY
Inside Cairo Station, the Master Chief cocks a BR55 battle rifle. New Mombasa; the Master Chief on the back of a Warthog, fires the M68 Gauss cannon at a Ruwaa-pattern Shadow.

New Mombasa; the Master Chief fires the Gauss cannon, and an explosion engulfs the enemy.
First-person view of a battle in multiplayer on Zanzibar; the Elite is killed. Another battle at Zanzibar; a Warthog is enveloped in an explosion while a Ghost flips.
HE IS
New Mombasa; it pans up to show the Chief standing atop a chunk of debris, wielding a pair of SMGs. He watches as several Phantoms fly over him, then turns to the camera and jumps.

Xbox logo and www.xbox.com. The website URL briefly changes to ilovebees.com.
Production notes[edit]
The high-resolution model of Earth was reused several years later in the backdrop for Nassau Station, one of many Halo universe elements included in the fighting game Dead or Alive 4.[2]
