CINDER-class Mjolnir is a variant of the MJOLNIR [GEN2] armor designed for use by Spartan special containment teams.[1]

Overview

Specifications

CINDER armor features thermal superconducting coatings and a reinforced shock-absorbing gel layer to mitigate the risk of using thermobaric and incendiary weapons at close range. Additionally, the CINDER helmet features a full suite of lab-grade chemsniffers and hazmat filters.[1]

Usage

Used by Spartan special containment teams at UNSC facilities.[1]

Halo 5: Guardians

Cinder was first introduced as an armor set in the Warzone Firefight update for Halo 5: Guardians. The suit has no skin variants.[2]

Production notes

The Cinder armour was created by the Berlin-based outsource studio Airborn Studios.[3] Internally, the armour was known by the codename A099 during development.[4]
