The AV-22B Attack VTOL is a variant in the Sparrowhawk line of attack gunships, produced by Misriah Armory.[1]
Overview[edit]
Design details[edit]
- Main article: AV-22 Sparrowhawk
The AV-22B variant is an alteration on the basic airframe of the standard AV-22 Sparrowhawk gunship. Unlike its base variant, the AV-22B is equipped with wing-mounted pylons, mounting three A-74 Sylver missiles on each for a total of six.[1]
Production notes[edit]
The AV-22B variant is based on concept art produced during the development of Halo Wars, for the regular Hawk vehicle. The concept version, which features wing-mounted pylons mounting numerous missiles, was canonised in the release of the 2022 edition of the Halo Encyclopedia.[1]
