The glitch can be exploited in the last part of the level Outskirts on Halo 2. It is located in the area where you must make your way through the enclosed highway. Partway through, a Scarab fires its main cannon through a blown hole in the tunnel's ceiling, striking a group of Marines in a Gauss Warthog. Players will have climb the debris to jump on to the roof. This glitch does not require Grenade Jumping, though it will make the process much easier. Players climbing the debris fast enough will be able to notice a Scarab Gun in the blast and will see the Scarab walking away, only to mysteriously vanish. Note that it may take many tries to achieve this glitch.
