forerunnership[1] (working title, shipping name unknown) was a planned level in Halo 2.
Description
The level was set to take place on the Forerunner Dreadnought as it approached Earth, after the level The Great Journey. The level was ultimately cut from the game due to time constraints, resulting in the cliffhanger at the end of the game.[2] The level was to feature a trench run that involved "...massive, horizontal grav-lift transporters that you could drive a Warthog into and through." It was seemingly replaced by the battle scenes in Halo: Uprising.[1]
