Banished Apex
From Halopedia, the Halo wiki
The Apex is a type of structure built and operated by the Banished. They are typically used at their outposts and allow for the production and deployment of aircraft.[1][2] They serve as the Banished counterpart to the United Nations Space Command Airpad and the Covenant Summit.
Overview[edit]
Apexes are used by the Banished for furnishing the deployment of talons of strike fightercraft with the goal of controlling the skies and seizing the initiative to conduct their missions.[1] While they enable the production and deployment of a large array of aircraft, they also provide support functions for the base by coordinating friendly assets and tracking enemies.[2]
For the Banished forces operating on the Ark during the Second Ark Conflict, most Apex personnel are mercenaries in the employ of Let 'Volir, but remain wholly reliant on parts, vehicles, and munitions provided by the Banished proper.[1]

Phoenix log[edit]

Strikecraft support. Apex structures allow the requisition of Banshee. Shroud, and Blisterback flyers and unlocks their upgrade options. Multiple Apexes in an Outpost reduces flying vehicle requisition time. The Banished are masters of taking control of the skies and seizing the initiative to conduct their missions. These eyes and talons of the Banished protect Atriox's extraction and control operations on the Ark from the installation's aggressive Sentinels and the Spirit of Fire's UNSC forces. Most of the Apex personnel are in the employ of the mercenary Shipmaster, though they are utterly reliant on parts, vehicles, and armaments provided by their Brute patrons. |
