The disruption emitter is an equipment employed within the Banished. When deployed, the emitter temporarily generates a circular field of electromagnetic pulse. During the Second Ark Conflict, Voridus modified certain models of the disruption emitter, increasing the size of the EMP field, though at the cost of reducing its duration. Voridus deployed these emitters during his salvaging operations in the vicinity of High Charity that eventually led to the Flood outbreak on Installation 00.[1]
