The Shield Generator is a structure employed by the Banished for the purposes of protecting their Outposts. The structure provides a heavy energy shield that covers the Outpost and protects it from damage. Shield Generators like these are created using reverse-engineered Forerunner technology, with the Banished combing the black markets of Venezia and other colonies for ancient secrets.[1]
Shield Generators can be built on the turret slot of a base.
