In late 2558, a mission was undertaken by the Office of Naval Intelligence to Luna.[2]
Background[edit]

While in Slipstream space from the Tala system in their Condor Foxtrot 111, Veronica Dare, Edward Buck, and Kojo Agu began discussing the details of how to undertake the mission. The overall plan was to rescue the Huragok Vergil from a classified facility on the surface of Luna.[3]
However nearly 36 hours and 28 minutes after The Reclamation, the facility had been overrun with Armigers from the Created.[1]

Shortly after this Armiger invasion, the Condor arrived over the dark side of the moon and proceeded to towards Daedalus Crater.[1]
When Vergil was eventually found in the complex, he demanded that his handler Sadie Endesha be rescued as well. The team agreed to the demand but requested that he and the other Huragok there repair a hangar in order to allow Dare to land and pick them up.[1] They proceeded to try and find her deeper in the facility while Dare provided aerial recon from Foxtrot 111.[4]
Aftermath[edit]
