Unidentified Spirit pattern
From Halopedia, the Halo wiki
This unidentified pattern of the Spirit is an infantry and logistical dropship manufactured and utilized by the Covenant.[1]
Overview[edit]
Design details[edit]
Superficially, this Spirit pattern heavily resembles the Dextro Xur-pattern Spirit; though, like the Nuro'k Xur-pattern Spirit, each of the twin troop bays feature individually-articulated doors that open to a shared troop compartment.[3]
Operational history[edit]
This pattern of Spirit was used during the later stages of the Human-Covenant War. One was captured by members of the Hungry Buzzards in 2551 during the Battle of Legopo,[4] and was used by Libra Team during Operation: METEORITE in July of that year.[3] During the mission they were carried aboard the Covenant ship Triumph of Tolerance and used to deploy Sacristan troops into the vessel's habitat dome to fend off Libra Team.[5] Towards the end of the mission, a captured Spirit was used to ferry survivors from Tiger Company away from the ship, escorted by Libra Team in Seraph fighters.[6]
More were deployed by the Fleet of Particular Justice during the Battle of Installation 04 in September 2552.[7]
