Ship-bore

Ship-bores are a kind of naval boarding vehicle used by the Swords of Sanghelios. They consist of single-occupant, jet-powered pods that can be deployed from a warship in the path of an approaching enemy vessel to drill into its hull and insert troops into it. They can be deployed days in advance of their target and are capable of remaining undetected while they discretely cut into the hull to deposit their payloads.[1]
Four pods were used in November 2559 during the boarding of the storm cutter Vigilance with Piety by Swords of Sanghelios forces. The small team, consisting of Vul 'Soran, Tul 'Juran, Oda 'Mavamu, and Stolt, were deployed in their ship-bores from the assault carrier Shadow of Intent on November 2 and lay in wait for three days, beginning their boarding action on November 5.[1]
