Differences from the original game
This section is a stub. You can help Halopedia by expanding it.
- There is no longer a cutscene when the Master Chief activates the light bridge in the tunnel.
- When the Master Chief approaches the marines in the rock slide area, the marine sniper will state that he has been wounded and offer his sniper rifle to trade. This was previously removed from the original game as there was no function to trade weapons with allies.
- Foehammer now identifies the location of the three lifeboats to Cortana after the player exits the tunnel, rather than describing the remaining two after the player finds the first.
- Although he uses the Fitzgerald voice, the squad leader of the marines hiding in the Forerunner structure is listed as Sergeant Stacker in captions.
- Kig-Yar snipers now appear in the rock slide section.
- In the rock slide area, there is a much larger gap between the boulders and cliff wall, allowing the player to easily drive the Warthog to the uppermost section without getting caught between rocks.
- The mission ends immediately after clearing out the Covenant after rescuing the final squad, instead of after boarding Pelican Echo 419, which instead occurs in the closing cutscene.
