UNSC Spartan Dress Uniform

The UNSC Spartan Dress Uniform is the standard uniform worn by members of Spartan Operations during formal occasions such as ceremonies and memorial services, as opposed to the MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor used for combat. As of 2558, it has been observed in use by the branch's SPARTAN-IV personnel.[1]
Per UNSC Directive 10989.F11, Spartans who have qualified from their training and been assigned to a fireteam are permitted to wear a pin displaying their fireteam's emblem on their dress uniform.[2]

Notes from Brian Reed in the Library Edition of Halo: Escalation state that the design of the Spartan dress uniform was based on the appearance of the Corbulo Academy of Military Science service uniform from Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn.
