Overview[edit]

Design details[edit]

Main article: Rohakadu-pattern plasma pistol

"Ever wondered what an unbound plasma pistol can do? It shoots bigger bolts that can hit more things, and when ya charge it up it shoots like six— no, sixty green thingies that'll make any demons you find out there go screamin' to their mommies."
Briglard embellishes the Unbound Plasma Pistol's overcharged function during a propaganda tower broadcast on Installation 07.[5]

The Unbound Plasma Pistol is a modified variant of the standard Rohakadu-pattern plasma pistol. In addition to having a white chassis instead of the standard purple coloration, it fires faster, stronger bolts, and its scaled burst fires six bolts instead of a single overcharge bolt; the bolts detonate in a "supercombine" explosion if they hit the same target.[3]

Usage[edit]

One such weapon was used by Briglard,[5] an Unggoy High Sumpter in the Banished during the campaign on Installation 07 in 2559-2560.[6] During the campaign, he used the weapon in a combat encounter with John-117, though was defeated by the Spartan.[7]

In-game information[edit]

Halo Infinite[edit]

In campaign, the Unbound Plasma Pistol is a legendary weapon awarded to the player after defeating the High Value Target, Briglard. The weapon can be acquired at any Forward Operating Base within the campaign. It fires faster, stronger bolts. In addition, its scaled burst fires six bolts instead of a single overcharge bolt; the bolts detonate in a "supercombine" explosion if they hit the same target.[2][3][4]
