Personal AI of Octavio Morales[1] |
JJ is a smart AI serving in the United Nations Space Command as the personal AI of Octavio Morales, an ex-ORION (or "Spartan I") supersoldier and a high-level operative of the Office of Naval Intelligence Section Three.[1] He was likely created from the brain of James James, one of Morales' fellow ORION personnel and from whom JJ's initials are presumably derived.
Biography[edit]
At the outset of the Created uprising in 2558, JJ chose not to side with the Created and instead remained loyal and in UNSC service. As such, a condition of his continued operations was the installation of the RUINA subroutine, intended to prematurely dispose of the AI should he consider a traitorous action. As of November 4, 2559, JJ resided in Research Center Oscar, a UNSC outpost built to study the Excession in east Africa. On that day, he was responsible for encrypting and sending a transmission from Morales (Codename: SURGEON) to Admiral Jilan al-Cygni (Codename: COALMINER), regarding his intent to bring in James Solomon to kidnap Chloe Hall as part of the UNSC's wider attempts to capture the Lithos.[1]
Personality and traits[edit]
JJ has a rough voice, noted by Morales to remind him of one of his former-colleagues from his days as an ORION supersoldier (presumably that of James James, who shares JJ's initials and was also in the ORION program). Despite the conditions imposed by the Created uprising, Morales retains full confidence in JJ's ability.[1]
