Service history[edit]

The Port Stanley used several Rudra-class missiles to destroy three Covenant cruisers loyal to the Arbiter, the Far Vision, the Axiom, and the Devotion.[2]

Trivia[edit]

Rudra is the name of a Hindu god associated with wind or storm, and the hunt. The naming of the Rudra missile mirrors that of the Shiva-class nuclear missile, which is also named after a Hindu deity.
