Jonesy (sometimes Jonesey) is a collection of Easter eggs referring to a supposed calico cat aboard the UNSC Pillar of Autumn. It is presented as if a pet of someone on board the Pillar of Autumn which would have been on board during the Fall of Reach.

In Halo: Combat Evolved, Jonesy's owner had lost the cat by the time the Pillar of Autumn reached Installation 04 and put notices on the bulletin board and various other Pillar of Autumn boards to alert other personnel to the lost cat.[1] In Halo 3, there are posters reading "Still missing my cat Jonesey," with an apparent silhouette of a cat in the bottom right hand side of the poster.[2] A similar poster can half be seen in the trash on the left side of Foundry facing the fan.
