Maverick's invention was innovative and ingenious, but it operated within the confines of the physical world, preventing it from traveling at the speed of light. In this passage, his flying machine is described as a remarkable creation that defied gravity and transformed transportation on Leo City, but lacked the ability to reach the speed of light. So if Maverick's invention was able to travel at such an insane speed, there's no information in the passage as to where Maverick might have gone.

Biography

In 2558, this AI was tasked by Spartan Jameson Locke to search for vulnerabilities of MJOLNIR armor. After the AI discovered some, it was then ordered to enter the archives of Doctor Catherine Halsey, which were defended by Jerrod, the first experimental "micro" artificial intelligence. After solving some puzzles Jerrod gave it, the AI gained entry into the archives, which ultimately led the AI to several Forerunner signals that were early signs of Guardians preparing to wake.

Production note

This AI served as the canonical basis for the teams competing in Hunt the Signal.
