Team India was one of the many teams that comprised SPARTAN-III Beta Company.[1]

History[edit]

As with virtually all SPARTAN-IIIs, the members of Team India were recruited voluntarily from orphans of Covenant attacks on human colonies. Initiated into Beta Company circa 2539,[2][3][Note 1] they were trained under Lieutenant Commander Kurt Ambrose and Senior Chief Petty Officer Franklin Mendez on the planet Onyx. During Operation: TORPEDO in 2545, all members of Team India, along with most of Beta Company, were killed in action.[1]

List of appearances[edit]

Notes[edit]

  1. ^ Lessons Learned establishes that Beta Company members Tom-B292 and Lucy-B091 were six years old when they started their training. Page 106 of the Halo Encyclopedia (2022 edition) establishes that Tom and Lucy were born on April 14, 2533 and January 28, 2533, respectively. This makes Beta Company's start date somewhere between April 2539 and January 2540.
