Fireteam Apollo is a specialized fireteam of rotating Spartan-IV supersoldiers assigned to UNSC Infinity. The members of the fireteam are primarily newer recruits, placed together in a variety of combinations.[2] The team reports directly to Spartan Commander Sarah Palmer.[1] Apollo's emblem features a stylized arrow, representing its namesake's association with archery.

Behind the scenes
Fireteam Apollo is the in-universe explanation for Halo Legendary Crate.[1] The story of Fireteam Apollo will be told throughout the released Loot Crates and possibly in other future media. Apollo will be similar to Spartan Ops' Fireteam Crimson in which the identities of the fireteam's members will be unknown to the audience to allow fans to immerse themselves into roles as Spartans of Apollo.[2] 92738-62842-LC's initials "LC" are a reference to Loot Crate.
