(Based on the way Locke and co. are addressed it looks a lot like they're indeed under the Spartan branch instead of ONI, despite the ONI emblem on Locke's armor.) |

Fireteam Osiris is a team of Spartan-IV supersoldiers of the Spartan branch.[2]
History
After John-117 went AWOL along with his old Spartan-II unit, Blue Team,[3] Jameson Locke recruited a team of Spartan-IV operatives with the task of recovering the Master Chief and Blue Team.[1] The team was fitted with cutting-edge technology (including the Artemis Tracking System) to help them track down Blue Team.[2]
During their quest to find Blue Team, Fireteam Osiris participated in a joint mission with the Swords of Sanghelios against a Covenant faction.
