Germany,[1][2] occasionally referred to by the endonym Deutschland,[3] is a country on Earth.[1][2]
The adjective for Germany is "German".[4]

During World War II, the British managed to crack a German code.[4]
22nd to 25th-century[edit]
By the mid-22nd century, the country was known as the "Unified German Republic". Corporations from there were targeted by Koslovics in their "workers' crusades". This resulted in these corporations backing the Friedens in the Jovian Moons.[5][6]
Lutheran Americans of Germanic descent would settle the outer colony world of Harvest.[7]
26th-century[edit]
By the 26th-century, the Beweglichkeitsrüstungsysteme was an important UNSC research corporation crucial to the development of several MJOLNIR armor components and variants and is located in Essen.
As well, around this time Essen, which is still in Germany, and Berlin were part of the European Union.[1][2]
