The Ninth Watchtower of August Attendance was an old Covenant orbital space station formely situated over the remote planet Atropos.[1]

Once an archaic and largely abandoned outpost, the station watched over a solitary world that the Covenant had never deemed worthy of a name. Its continued observation stemmed from the planet’s immense twin circumplanetary rings, whose composition contained a strange and unidentified material that defied Covenant analysis.[1]
