Humans have developed a number of weapons throughout their history.

Overview

Infantry weapons

They come with a variety of electronic gadgets such as ammo readouts and are significantly more reliable, seldom malfunctioning. They are also generally immune to electromagnetic pulses.

Larger scale weapons

The most prominent of these larger scale weapons is the Magnetic Accelerator Cannon, used as the main armament on UNSC warships, and in smaller form in ground-based weapons. Larger scale energy weapons exist such as with the pulse lasers used on UNSC prowlers. Advances in technology allow the development of highly efficient explosive devices, including the Lancet micro-missiles, capable of decimating main battle tanks.[1]

History

In 1945, nuclear weapons would be used for the first time by humans[2] and would continue to be used all the way into the 26th century.
