The M41 Extended Light Anti-Aircraft Gun,[1] abbreviated M41 ELAAG[1] or M41 ELAAGat[2] is a weapon carried on UNSC Booster Frames. The weapon is a variant of the M41 Light Anti-Aircraft Gun designed to operate in vacuum. It fires gas-jacketed, armor-piercing depleted uranium shells with pressurized atmospheric contents to ensure an explosive percussion in a vacuum or other challenging environments.[3]
The weapon is mounted in the rear of the Booster Frame, where it can be operated by another serviceman.[3]
