Last Man Standing

Medal icon for Halo 5: Guardians.

Last Man Standing is a medal in Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, Halo: Reach, Halo 4, and Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer.

It is earned for being the last survivor alive in Infection, Flood or Firefight game modes.

In Halo 3, it is represented by 8 green triangles pointed inwards towards a white circle overlayed on top of a yellow circle with a white border. 8 yellow triangles, and 8 smaller white triangles protrude outwards.

In Halo: Reach, it is represented by 8 green triangles pointed inwards towards a white triangle overlayed on top of a golden circle with a white border. 4 gold triangles, 4 smaller gold triangles, and 8 gray triangles protrude outwards.

In Halo 4, it is represented by a white Mark VI helmet with a light blue visor, overlayed on top of a light blue circle, a gray diamond with white spikes on each corner, and a black diamond with a white border.[1]

In Halo 5: Guardians, it is represented by a white Mark VI helmet with a pastel blue visor, and 8 light blue rhombus shapes overlayed on top of a black circular shape with a green border.

Tips/Strategies[edit]

  • An easy way to get this medal is to find a good, secure hiding spot early on in an Infection game. The downside of this method, however, is that your opportunity to get kills (and therefore points) is greatly diminished.
  • The medal is easy to achieve in Halo 3 if one hides on the very well known infection game called Fat Kid or Hide & Seek.

Trivia[edit]

  • In Halo 3, the player must either die or the time limit for the round that it's awarded in must end in order to be awarded the medal.
    • In later Halo games, the medal is awarded immediately as soon as you become the last survivor.
