The medal in Halo: Reach.

Thank the Maker is a Bungie.net multiplayer medal available in Halo: Reach. It is earned by winning a match while a Bungie employee is on the other team, or an opponent with the Bungie nameplate. It is represented by a pair of blue slitted eyes on top of a sixteen-pointed star.^[1] The medal does not appear in-game and can only be viewed on Bungie.net.

On March 31, 2012 Bungie.net ceased updating Halo game stats and player records, transferring all record-keeping responsibilities to Halo Waypoint.^[2] As Thank the Maker could only be viewed on the site, it is effectively no longer awarded.

Trivia[edit]

The name of this medal may be a reference to a line said by C-3PO in the 1977 film "Star Wars".
