Biography[edit]
Investigations on Sedra[edit]
In February 2556, FIXER was involved in ONI's investigation and response to the Terrorist attack on Sedra City as part of Operation: BLEACH.[2] This included surveillance and analysis of several private communications made by civilians, Sedran officials, and criminal elements alike, several of which were classified by ONI. Known examples include:
- An intercepted transmission from smuggler Christian Ramsay confirming that a null state stasis container had been procured.[3]
- Footage from Sedran security cameras of the Yonhet smuggler Axl was uploaded to FIXER.[4]
- A transmission from ONI agent Noah Caloes to Sedran medic Ader Haddak, discussing the dispersal method of the bomb used in the terror attack, was encrypted and sent to FIXER for analysis due to the improper spread of classified information.[5]
- A transmission from Laura Daoud, a nurse at the Sedra Colonial Guard Hospital, to her husband discussing the effects of Element 120.V.[6]
- Footage from Recon-14, a drone used to explore the Alpha Shard.[7]
- A report from Sedran Colonial Guard quartermaster Lindsey Danford complaining about the United Nations Space Command's appropriation of Sedran HAVOK tactical nukes in the run-up to the Mission to Alpha Shard was also intercepted and rerouted to FIXER.[8]
- Footage of an autopsy report of the late Rowan Daoud, by Dr. Brynn Morad; Morad's various net searches were flagged by Sedran AI NOX as she attempted to access classified information about the death of an Alerian smuggler, Indrid Lota. These searches were flagged to FIXER, who in turn confiscated NOX, and then purged and reset the Sedran medical network.[9]
After the confiscation of NOX, FIXER wrote a classified report to Octavio Morales (operating under the alias of Codename: SURGEON), discussing his findings from the Morad case and noting that the flagged information required security quarantine, and noting that SURGEON should expect follow-up updates.[2]
Created uprising[edit]
At some point in late 2558, shortly before the Created uprising, FIXER was involved in an investigation which placed him in direct contact with an ONI Section Two communications officer working under Director Schaefer who was producing propaganda about the Spartan programs. FIXER called the officer through a voice filter, wanting to know how the officer had managed to acquire some unspecified information.[1] In October 2559, almost a year after the rise of Cortana and the Created, FIXER attempted to confirm data from Operations BREAKER TRIP, WOLFE, and KICKSTAND.[10] Around this time, FIXER was also involved in tasking agent Parisa for her next mission following the successful completion of Operation: HOURGLASS.[11]
During the Battle for Zeta Halo, an ONI agent deployed on the installation, Codename: POINTER, was able to find a vulnerability in a Banished transmitter at the Horn of Abolition and relay data about the UNSC campaign on Zeta Halo. POINTER hoped that FIXER would be able to pick up on the data.[12]
On January 1, 2560, Admiral Jilan al-Cygni spoke with FIXER about how close Project BOOKWORM had come to succeeding while observing Boundary and the remains of the Lithos from the prowler Akkadian. Al-Cygni admitted that she was looking for any progress and what made this site different from the ones found on Kamchatka, Juvedai, Amasa and Genesis. FIXER suggested that al-Cygni look into the reports that FIXER had sent over as ONI had been seeing a strong uptick in activity gleaned from the Domain terminals they had tabs on. However, FIXER couldn't explain what the activity was exactly, cracking a joke about how they'd have a much better retirement plan if they could. ONI wasn't sure if the fluctuations were related to the events at Zeta Halo or not, but it was worth noting nonetheless. The two discussed what to do with the girl if there were any other entry points to the Domain that their enemies could use before al-Cygni received an interesting message from Ayit 'Sevi (known by the alias "SNAKE IN THE GRASS") suggesting that they weren't done with Dovo Nesto yet and that his new fascination might well be worth their time to look into.[13]
