Eden is a Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer map set in an AMG Transport Dynamics shipping and storage facility inside Noctus, the capital city of Andesia.[1][2] Empire is the remixed version of Eden.

Gameplay[edit]

Eden has a larger abundance of catwalks, is asymmetrical in structure, and is overall more spacious. The focal power weapons on the map are the Rocket Launcher, spawning in the center of the map, and the Sniper Rifle, spawning on the ledge above blue base. Other power weapons include the Shotgun and MLRS-1 Hydra. Additionally, Eden features an abundance of lightrifles.

Several interactive elements can be found on Eden. One of which is a trio of platforms that will lower and raise throughout the match when shot; it is located on the outer edge of the map that faces the skyline of the city. There are also pillars that when shot will raise to grant players access to the upper catwalks from below.

A common complaint during the beta was Eden's lighting, which many players found to be too dark and advantageous to blue team. In the final version of the game, the map is now brighter and has a more purplish color palette, addressing the complaints.[3]
