Operation: HWACHA was a successful operation of the United Nations Space Command against Covenant fleet forces in the Bonanza asteroid belt, during the Human-Covenant War in early 2537. The SPARTAN-III program's Alpha Company was deployed during the operation in counter-boarding actions against the Covenant fleet,[1][2] in which they highly distinguished themselves.[3]
