In 2549, during the Human-Covenant War, a battle took place at Mesa.
Battle[edit]
Mesa would be attacked by the Fleet of Particular Justice.[2]
Aftermath[edit]
The planet would be glassed[3] and the whole battle would result in about 219 million casualties.[2]
Jameson Locke compiled information on Thel 'Vadamee's actions at Mesa, as well as at Camber, Bounty, Kroedis II, Alluvion, Estuary, and Greydowns into a Target profile.[2]
Several M400 Kodiaks and a Forerunner artifact would survive the glassing and in 2557, salvager Ram Chalva would acquire them.[3]
