Service history
Ancient history
The ships were in service by humans as early as the Human-Forerunner wars.[3] At least one was part of a fleet commanded by Lord of Admirals Forthencho.[4]
Numerous vessels of the class were taken over by the Flood and continued to be used by the Flood as late as the Forerunner-Flood war.[5]
Legacy
The Office of Naval Intelligence discovered one such vessel at Site Yankee-002-G3. A detailed report named "ONI XENO-MATERIALS EXPLOITATION REPORT 15Y1198" was filed. Further research was recommended to Project ARC DREAM and teams on AZURE MOON were assigned to study its weaponry.[2]
