The Duelist sword is a variant of the Meluth'qelos-pattern fireblade. It exhibits a more purple blade colouration and a white hilt.[1]
Usage
The Duelist energy sword was used by Okro 'Vagaduun, a Sangheili blademaster. The weapon accompanied 'Vagaduun throughout his career, and was notably used by the Sangheili during his assassination of Toha 'Sumai - a respected duelist on Sanghelios. The assassination was done as part of 'Vagaduun's initiation into the Banished - with one of Atriox's core teachings being to reject honour and all previous loyalties.[6]
During the Zeta Halo campaign in 2559-2560, he used the weapon in a combat encounter with John-117, though was defeated by the Spartan.[7]
